Brewed Awakenings

This is the ad in the paper for Forest's home, the coffee shop.

(In real life, this street does not exist.)

-Kasi and Leopardstorm

Hello

I am Kasi Grace. Most of you probably are thinking right now, "Why is a cat writing a blog?" or more importantly, "I thought cats couldn't type or talk!" Well, you are wrong, my friend. Since 1874, cats have had the ability to talk, and write. If a cat lives in your house, they probably have just kept the secret from you.

The purpose of why I am here. I am typing this blog because my good friend Forest, you see, his owner owns a coffee shop. Newspapers are everywhere. Forest had took up the opportunity of living in the coffee shop. Soon, he noticed that some of the people who regularly came to get a coffee and pick up the daily paper every morning slowly stopped coming. Instead of sitting down, sipping their coffee, and reading their newspaper, they grabbed their drink, and stared at a cell-phone (Yes. The cat population knows what a cell-phone is.) all while walking out the door! Forest's owner could not get people to come back. Forest himself got angry at this, and came to my house, knowing I knew how to work a laptop (Yes, we know those too.). Forest had the idea that if we made a blog for cats everywhere to read, they could somehow pursue their owners to go get a cup of coffee, and read the newspaper occasionally.

Thank you.

-Kasi Grace

Hello, Goodbye.

Hi, all. I am Leopardstorm, obviously. I would just like to let you know that from now on, the rest of this blog will be in the view of Kasi Grace, a cat in one of the stories I am writing. I thought it would be interesting for all of you to read a blog in the point of view of a cat. You have to embrace the fact that this blog is entirely fictional, if you wish to enjoy reading it. I just wanted to introduce myself. Also, occasionally I will have a post in my point of view.

Kasi insisted for me to tell you that sometimes her good friends Lilith Rose, Izzabelle Green, and Forest will visit.

I say my farewell. For now.

With Love,
Leopardstorm - Kasi's Owner
